How is bonded leather made? Shredded leather scraps and fiber are mixed with bonding materials and extruded onto a fiber or paper backing cloth. The material can then be dyed and embossed with a leather like texture, although the color and patterning are only a surface treatment. A polyurethane treatment gives the surface a glossy finish.
To clean the sofas first use a damp cloth to wipe the dust on the sofa. Wipe the entire sofa with the same cloth, dipping it in the cleaning solution whenever necessary. Next step, in the process to clean leather furniture is conditioning. For this, make use of vinegar and linseed oil. Mix them in the ratio 2:1. Apply the mixture on the sofa and allow it to dry. Finally, the following day clean the sofa with a neat cloth and see it shine.
